Best Week Ever!
We had a fantastic week at Villa Solaria this summer. The Villa is a beautiful mix of modern meets traditional Spain, perfectly spacious for large groups with comfy beds and beautiful bathrooms and all felt very secure which was a great relief for a family with small children who like to explore!
The outdoor shower was a life saver in the August heat! No one had any issues with showering before getting in the pool as it was soooo refreshing.
Everything was spotless when we arrived, and Sara and Babbs went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember, even assisting with a surprise birthday cake from the local panaderia for myself, during our stay. We were provided with a wealth of information prior to our arrival with recommendations of where to visit, and there's lots to choose from. Every one of us had the best week and hope to visit again in the near future.

As a family of 12 spread over 3 generations and with ages ranging from 78 to 16 we spent a wonderful week in Villa Solaria in June, 2024. This is an amazing villa with 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, 5 of them ensuites ensuring we all had comfort and space. Spread over 3 levels and spacious, with attractive gardens, an amazing swimming pool and every amenity you could wish for, this is a wonderful place for a Costa del Sol holiday.
Using the villa as a base we roamed the Costa del Sol from Malaga to Fuengirola and everything in between using a combination of taxis and trains, all of which were reasonably priced.
Views from the villa balcony and across the floodlit pool of a night are memorable. We had near perfect weather so made great use of the swimming pool and enjoyed BBQ meals on the poolside terrace.
We could walk to nearby beaches and morning coffee. The walk home up the hill was a bit challenging, but, is manageable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness.
Sara (owner's daughter) and Barbara (local representative) were very helpful in all respects and good communicators. You will not be disappointed if you choose to holiday in Villa Solaria.

We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday at Villa Solaria. We were a party of 7 adults and 4 children and found the villa to be spacious, !immaculate, well equipped and comfortable. The views were beautiful and we all loved the pool! 5 stars!

Our Stay April 27th - May 4th 2024
After two years we, with 11 family members, visited Villa Solaria for the second time. The welcome was very warm and it felt like coming to friends.The house and pool were already beautiful, but now with the improvements it was even better. The villa is at close range of all the beautiful places of the Costa de Sol and if you are interested in diving or hiking, this is the place to be. For sure, we will come back next year.

Villa Solaria
We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful villa. It really is like a small hotel! 7 double rooms all with en suites. Immaculately presented and so very clean. Wonderfully stocked with plenty of pots, pans, cutlery and plastic and glass glasses. Close to all amenities and not forgetting the fabulous swimming pool, which kept us cool from the heat of the sun. Plenty of sun beds for 14 people and very importantly - plenty of shade! Suits everyone! Both the owner, Sara and Babs, the person who did the meet and greet were lovely and communicated effectively with us from the moment of booking. I would truly recommend this villa - we all had a wonderful stay and would love to return next year! Thank you Sara and Babs!

Great Villa and Great Host
What a beautiful and well looked after villa this is. The hosts were amazing from start to finish with excellent communication. We stayed as a party of 12 family members aged 14 months to 73 years and all had a great time. The location is on a steep hill with some interesting roads but once you get used to them its fine. You can walk up it down the hill to some fantastic restaurants. It is a steep climb but taxis are easy to book and cheap. The facilities in the villa are great and the pool is a really good size.

14 of us have just spent an absolutely fantastic week in this beautiful villa. If you're thinking about booking you will not be disappointed. It's so well equipped, spacious and beautifully presented. The outdoor space is perfect for large groups with stunning gardens and the pool is well maintained and larger than we expected. The Marina is a 10 minute taxi ride away (10 euros) with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
Angelina and Sara made our stay stress free with excellent communication throughout. We will definitely be going back next year, but for 2 weeks!

Hi, I would like to leave a review, We have just come back from Villa Solaria, it is a beautiful place to stay with fantastic views and such a chilled relaxed atmosphere , there was 14 of us and the Villa has so much space that if you need time out there are areas to find peace and tranquility, we arrived and were greeted by the owners who were absolutely lovely, telephone numbers are supplied so Taxis, Takeaways and everything you need is at hand, the pool and dining areas are brilliant, higher up the mountain there is an Aldi supermarket which was stocked with everything you could want and very reasonably priced, A short taxi ride to the resort and lots of lovely bars and restaurants by the Port Marina, If you book this Villa you will not be disappointed, Would we go back?….. in a heartbeat. Thank you so much to everyone involved at Villa Solaria from the hosts to the cleaning and ground staff.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Solaria. The large house and estate really offers enough space for a large group like ours. We were 8 adults and 5 children.
Everyone had their own bedroom with bathroom. The kids were housed in the basement, the girls and boys each shared a room. In the basement there was a living area, a kitchen and direct access to the pool. We didn‘t see the kids often, either they were in the pool, playing basketball or table tennis. Everything is there. There is a gas grill by the pool, which we used twice. At the pool there is also a dining area for everyone. We only used the lower kitchen when we grilled downstairs.
On the ground floor there was a large kitchen with a dining area, a pantry and a terrace. In addition, a large living room, dining room, two bedrooms with bathrooms and a great terrace overlooking the sea. We adults mainly spent our evenings and had breakfast there. Inside we were as good as never. Under the roof there is the penthouse with a bathroom and a great view.
We didn't miss anything - there were enough dishes, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. There were also enough beach towels. Everything is clean and well maintained. You can see that the owners often keep an eye on the villa. Barbara, our contact person on site, was always available with advice and action! Just great! The contact with the owner was also very good and uncomplicated.
In the end we were happy with our rental car. It is only a few kilometers to the beach or to Benalmadena Pueblo (village above) or for shopping, but the difference in altitude is a bit strenuous on foot. We went almost every day to the sandy beach of Playa de la Torre, about 3 km from the villa. Very beautiful!

Honeymoon in the sun
Just had the most relaxed and chilled week ever. This villa has everything you could possibly need for a total break with friends and family. Very well eqipped, 2 washing machines, brilliant kitchen facilities and so much more.
Breakfast in the sun with groups of parakeets entertaining you. Amazing views with the sea in the distance.
Plenty of walks once you get to the safer roads but the local taxis are excellent, reasonably priced and very efficient. and friendly.
This villa has clearly been well loved and tended to..... fab gardens and in excellent decorative order.
Sara was brilliant and Babs (key holder) always on hand to help if needed.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the villa on numerous occasions with family and friends, and have never regretted any occasion.
Apart from seven bedrooms, six ensuite, with the other bedroom and bathroom right next door to each other; a spacious living and dining area, a large kitchen with everything you need, a swimming pool, patio and barbeque area, all-you-can-eat TV and streaming channels, and hi-speed wi-fi; what else does the villa have to offer, I hear you say?!
Well… there’s the fabulous weather in the peak season; it’s perfect location in the hills, overlooking the coast of Benalmadena - a short distance away, and with the beautiful village Pueblo close by. Then, there’s easy access to the other coastal delights of Spain’s Costa del Sol - Puerto Banus, Marbella, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Torremolinos, and Malaga. Not to mention, the striking Plaza de la Constitucion in Mijas, with glorious vistas to the coast.
And, if that’s not enough, then there’s Barbara! Barbara will greet you at the villa on your arrival - show you where everything is and explain how it all works. She is very friendly (she’s from the north!), incredibly helpful, and she’s just a phone call away if you need anything.
Enjoy your stay there - you won’t regret it!
